So Matt is type O+....a giver and taker of all. He has two bags of transfusions today. They started the first one at 11:10 and it takes about 1-2 hours to complete each bag. They will change the chemo bag and then start the second blood. They watched for a 15 mins. to make sure he didn't have any reactions to the blood, which he didn't, so we know this will perk him up some.
He is sleeping with the anti-nausea meds they have started, but he is still getting up to go to the bathroom as needed. So that's good. He did just say he wants some chocolate ensures for lunch, so we have placed that order through room service.
